Physical Challenge

HYROX is a combination of running and functional exercise stations. Participants run 1 km and then challenge the functional exercise stations 8 times. HYROX welcomes thousands of participants from all sports backgrounds and fitness levels!

HYROX Foundational

Foundational training is a fairly straight forward program as it is similar to traditional circuit training. The purpose of this program is to build the athlete's basic fitness: strength, endurance, some aerobic capacity, agility and skill training.

HYROX Power

strength and endurance are crucial in HYROX competitions. Competitors need to recruit tremendous muscle power, move weight for a long time, and do it while fatigued. This is a skill that needs to be trained. For athletes who need to build muscle and strength, strength training classes are ideal. It can be a helpful tool for highly conditioned endurance athletes to get balanced and better prepared on race day.

 

HYROX Engine

The Engine workout is designed to improve endurance, aerobic capacity, lactate threshold, and tolerance. Classes utilize a range of intervals, eclectic movements, and sprint efforts to develop speed, VO2 Max, and endurance. Athletes benefit greatly from this class format, especially strong athletes who need to train their aerobic capacity.

 

HYROX Complete

Complete training is the best competition specific workout for athletes. Blends aerobic and lactic conditioning with strength and HYROX specific skills. Complete training prepares athletes for the specific physiological demands they will encounter at HYROX events. This challenges them physically and mentally while building their familiarity and comfort level with the discomfort of these challenges.
