HYROX Challenge
HYROX Challenge
Double Touble
Overview
Take on the ultimate HYROX endurance test with a partner! In this 2-person team challenge, you'll alternate between working and judging across 8 stations, completing two full rounds each. Push your limits in a 90-second max effort format with built-in rest.
Workout Structure
· Format: 90 seconds work / 30 seconds rest
· Total Rounds: 16 per athlete (2 complete circuits of 8 stations)
· Team Setup: One athlete performs the workout while the other judges and records; then switch roles.
· Objective: Achieve the highest total reps, meters, or calories across both rounds for each station.
The 8 Stations (Performed in Order)
1. Max Calorie Run – 90 seconds all-out on the treadmill
2. Max Calorie Ski – 90 seconds on the SkiErg
3. 10M Sled Push-Pull – 90 seconds of sled push (first round) and sled pull (second round)
4. Burpee – 90 seconds of max burpees (chest to ground)
5. Max Calorie Row – 90 seconds on the rower
6. 10M Farmers Carry – 90 seconds of max Lap
7. Forward Lunges – 90 seconds of lunges with Sandbag
8. Wall Balls – 90 seconds of wall ball shots
After completing all 8 stations, rest 30 seconds and repeat the sequence for a second round.
Team Format: How It Works
· Teams of 2 – decide who works first and who judges.
· Judge Role: Count reps, track calories/meters, ensure proper form, and time the 90-second work intervals and 30-second rests.
· Athlete Role: Give maximum effort at each station.
· After the first athlete finishes first rounds (8 work intervals), swap roles. The second athlete then completes the same 8 rounds while the first judges.
· Total team time will vary, but each athlete’s performance is recorded separately for comparison or combined for a team score.
Scoring
· Per Station: Total reps, meters, or calories achieved in each 90-second effort.
· Per Athlete: Sum of both rounds for each station (e.g., Round 1 Run + Round 2 Run).
· Team Total: Combine both athletes’ totals for an overall team score – or compete to see who dominates each station!
Why Do This Challenge?
· Partner Motivation: Push each other to new heights with real-time coaching and encouragement.
